Privacy Policy
Last updated October 8, 2026
This policy explains what information Flovura ("we," "us") collects when you use flovuraai.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name and email address, either directly or from your Google account if you sign in with Google (in which case we receive your name, email address, and profile picture as authorized by Google).
Video content. The video files you upload, or that we download from a link you provide, along with the clips, captions, and metadata we generate from them.
Billing information. Your credit balance, plan, and purchase history. Flovura does not itself store payment card details. Payments are handled by our payment providers: Razorpay for payments in INR and Dodo Payments for payments in USD. Dodo Payments acts as the merchant of record for USD purchases, so it collects the billing details needed to process the payment, taxes, and receipts, and tells us what we need to give you your plan (such as your email address, country, and what you bought).
Connected YouTube account (optional). If you connect your YouTube account so you can post clips from Flovura, we store the Google email address of that account and an encrypted access token that lets us upload the videos you choose to post. See “Connecting YouTube” below.
Reviews and feedback. If you leave a review or send feedback, we store what you write, your rating, and the name you choose. A review is only shown publicly on our site if you tell us it can be. If you ask to be told when a feature or payment option opens, we store your email address for that.
Technical information. Our hosting and security tools record standard technical details such as your IP address, browser, and the time of each request. We use your IP address on our own servers to estimate your country, so we can show prices in the right currency, and to protect the Service from abuse. We do not send your IP address to anyone else for this.
How we use your information
- To process your videos: transcribing audio, planning clips, generating captions, and rendering output files.
- To operate your account: authentication, tracking your credit balance and plan, and remembering your preferences.
- To take payments, issue receipts, and keep the Service secure, including blocking automated sign-ups and abuse.
- To communicate with you about your account or the Service, such as billing or support matters.
- To maintain and improve the Service, including diagnosing failures in video processing.
Third-party services we use
We rely on the following third-party services to operate Flovura. Your data is shared with them only as needed to provide the Service:
- Supabase — authentication and database storage for your account, project, and billing data.
- Cloudflare — R2 storage for uploaded source videos and rendered output clips, and Turnstile, the anti-bot check on sign-up and sign-in.
- OpenAI — transcribing your video's audio and generating clip plans, captions, and hooks.
- Google — if you choose to sign in with Google, for authenticating your account; and, if you connect YouTube, for uploading the clips you choose to post.
- Razorpay — payments in INR. Dodo Payments — payments in USD, as merchant of record.
- Railway — hosting for our application and video-processing infrastructure.
- A proxy service — when you give us a YouTube or Twitch link, we fetch the video from that site and may route the request through a proxy service. It sees the address of the video being fetched, not your account details.
Connecting YouTube
Flovura lets you post a finished clip to your own YouTube channel. This is optional and only starts when you choose “Connect YouTube”. Flovura uses YouTube API Services, so by connecting you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- What we ask Google for: permission to upload videos to your channel, and the email address of the Google account you connect. We cannot read, edit or delete anything else on your channel.
- What we use it for: only to upload the clip you press “Post” on, with the title, description and visibility you chose. We never post anything on your behalf without you choosing it.
- What we store: the connected account's email address, an encrypted refresh token, and a record of each clip you posted (the title and the video's ID). Nothing else from your YouTube account is kept, and we do not share it with anyone.
- How to remove it: choose “Disconnect YouTube” in the Post window, which tells Google to revoke our access and deletes our copy of the token. You can also remove Flovura's access any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting your Flovura account removes the connection as well.
Flovura's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies and similar technologies
Flovura only uses what it needs to work: a sign-in cookie from our authentication service that keeps you signed in, and small items stored in your browser (local storage) to remember your choices, such as light or dark theme, currency, your default caption settings, and prompts you have dismissed.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies or tracking pixels. Our payment providers and the anti-bot check may set their own cookies while you use them, to complete payments and keep the Service secure. You can clear cookies and stored items in your browser settings; if you block the sign-in cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in.
Where your data is processed
The services listed above may process your data in countries other than your own, including the United States and India. By using the Service you understand your information may be transferred to and handled in those countries.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your videos and account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual projects and clips at any time from within the app. You can delete your account and all associated data yourself from Settings (or from the plans page if you don't have a plan). If you have made a purchase we have to keep your payment records, so in that case contact us at the email below and we will handle it for you.
For videos you add as a link, we also keep the text transcript of that public video, with no account details attached, for up to 14 days, so that clipping the same video again is faster. It is never shown to anyone and is not linked to your account.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can also update your name and email directly from Settings within the app.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
